JOFO ENERGY is a testament to innovation and adaptability in the ever-evolving energy sector. Our journey began in 1972 when brothers Jan and Otakar Forman founded JOFO as a metalworking company. The name JOFO, derived from the founders' initials, has become synonymous with quality and innovation over the decades.

1972: JOFO founded as a metalworking company
1991: Official incorporation of JOFO s.r.o.
1991-2008: Expansion into construction sector
2008-2011: Entry into renewable energy with 6 PV projects totaling 2.5MWp
2022: Acquisition of a significant share in a Biomass Plant in northeastern Czechia
2025: Formation of JOFO GROUP holding company, with JOFO ENERGY as the dedicated energy division

What We Do
JOFO ENERGY specializes in:
Solar PV Solutions: We currently operate 6 PV plants with a total capacity of 3MWp.
Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS): We're constructing two 3MW BESS projects and offer BESS solutions for projects in Czechia, Slovakia, and Poland.
Biomass Energy: Through our stake in a northeastern Czech biomass plant, we're expanding our renewable energy portfolio.
Comprehensive Project Development: From feasibility studies to construction documentation and permitting assistance, we offer end-to-end project support.
